They finally arrived! After almost 3 weeks late (we got the dates wrong it seems) they finally arrived on Saturday morning! I near shit myself when I walked to the barn and the first one (mostly black-coloured male) was already born. The white female was on its way so it was just about supporting Rosie (the mum) for her next push! Once they were both out I dried them and kept them warm before she took over again!
Now it’s a case of closely watching them grow and making sure they’re warm enough. Luckily they’re both suckling with no problems at all so our first birthing experience has gone off without a hitch so far! We’ve 2 other pregnant females due in early March so watch this space!
