When my wife came to me and announced she was starting a new business, I knew where this would end up. Cue hours upon hours of website building! Now to be honest this is something I like as it gives me the ability to get creative with ideas that would work. That being said I’m working for my wife here and she knows what she wants out of this website!
www.mavoureen.com was built using Shopify and then modified a template to meet the shop’s requirements for looks, style, functionality etc.
From editing pictures of dresses and working on SEO, to looking at stock systems and apps that would value, this was a really interesting side project for me. An agency would no doubt charge good money for it so I was happy that to get this off the ground in a short space of time!
As with everything this is more about meeting the needs of the client (my wife) and having the flexibility to add and improve on the fly. I’ve no doubt this will be one of many iterations of the coming years but enjoyable to work on that’s for sure!
